An artistic Arthur, wandering in wonder, gives the gift of a view, life broken asunder. A gossamer web, this existance so grand, a look through my eyes, the words in my hand.

Devotional
Wandering calmly in God's Grace,
all the fear now gone,
life's become a centered place,
until he calls me home.
Through prayer I have found my reason,
on my knees I find hope,
now I cherish every season,
in rough waters, his love, my rope.
Reborn resplendently anew
my eyes wide in wonder.
my heart lifted into the light,
the darkness now nearly asunder.
The dawn, it is a joyous gift,
the dusk, a blanket, so warm.
Life a spark, so intense,
my soul an endless form.
Thank you is not nearly enough,
in gratitude for my soul,
for life is a gracious blessing,
and in death you make me whole.
To my Mission brothers and sisters.
I can feel the pulse of Heaven
whenever you are near.
A slow, calm beat in rhythm with my heart.
Feet floating slightly off the ground
as upon the very breath of God.
Your words soothing and true, effortless and joyful.
Your eyes give away your love,
all darkness removed,
I can see within them, an embrace, strong and honest.
Time doesn't exist to you,
but eternity holds your heart,
and clings like a child to it's mother, unknowing of anything else.
The gift you have given me
can hold no bow,
nor be confined in a box.
It flourishes in my soul
like a jungle flower,
stretching desperately towards the light.
You are part of that light,
because of you, I have grown and become stronger.
Because of you, I am beautiful.
Warning: Holy Spirit may be closer than it appears!!!
Side effects might include: kneeling, praying, weeping, raising of arms, loving, healing, embracing, shouting, singing, sharing, rejoicing, laughing, and repeated use of the word Amen. If you should come into contact with the Holy Spirit, climb the nearest mountain and shout it out.
As soon as I was off on my mission trip to Guatemala, the extreme pain I have had in my neck for a year, miraculously disappeared. Apparently being filled with the Holy Spirit has healing properties as well as an overwhelming feeling of joy. Who knew? Oh yeah, Jesus.
